Mosaic contributes $100,000 for Hurricane Irma relief efforts

The Mosaic Company (MOS) has contributed $100,000 for disaster relief and emergency response efforts in Florida in advance of Hurricane Irma's impact.
Funds will support the American Red Cross and Feeding Florida – who will receive $50,000 each.
Florida is home to many of Mosaic's phosphate production facilities and support operations. Mosaic's contribution to the American Red Cross and Feeding Florida will assist with safety and shelter, food and water, emotional support services, and long-term assistance and cleanup efforts.
The company is currently executing hurricane preparedness plans to halt its Central Florida phosphate mines and partially halt its concentrate facilities, to simplify efficient resumption of fertilizer production following the storm. Its priority is keeping people safe and protecting the environment during and after the storm.
